On the road...

Yesterday, I left Walker to start driving to Texas. I spend the night on the southern part of the Twin Cities and will start driving again shortly. From here, it will take about 19 hours of driving.

When do YOU think I will arrive in Houston?? I have an idea, but I thought it would be fun for you to try and figure it out. Keep these things in mind when you estimate... I can only drive about 300 miles on 1 tank of gas, I have to eat, and I plan on finding a hotel by 10pm so I'm not driving too late. Feel free to post your guess!

Airports and Airplanes

I have been on many planes and been to many airports. My first plane ride was when I was 8. Since then I have seen 16 airports in 5 different countries. All airports are different.

This week, I got to see the Minneapolis airport, the Denver, Colorado airport, and one of the airports in Houston, Texas. The Minneapolis airport was big with lots of stores. The Denver airport was just as big, but had lots of statues and art sculptures. One of the statues was a big, blue horse called a bronco. They even had a train to get from one part of the airport to another, it was that big! The Houston airport didn't have much but planes. There were only about 5 stores. If you look at the map below, you can see where I flew - the white dots are the cities and the white lines is where the plane flew to get from one city to another.

The planes I took were white with pictures of animals on the wings and tail. I saw 2 baby wolves, a walrus, an antelope, and penguins. My seat was green. I even got to watch TV because there were little TVs in the back of the seat in front of me. But most of the time, I just slept on the plane. I like flying in planes.
